Joined by Iggy Azalea, Pitbull’s “Can’t Stop Us Now” tour is truly a party that doesn’t stop.
As the ultimate end to the summer season, the Miami-born rapper brought an essence of his hometown to the Ak-Chin Pavilion for a night resembling a Latin fiesta.
Illuminated by vibrant, urban-inspired graphics and flanked by dancers in glittering costumes, Pitbull delivered some of his top party anthems from the past two decades with a contagious energy.
While performing hits like “International Love,” “Feel This Moment,” and “Timber,” Pitbull urged his fans to dance, scream and put their drinks and hands in the air, and they gave him everything.
A packed-house of carefree concert-goers, both young and old, crowded the pavilion to celebrate with “Mr. Worldwide.” Some indulged in a bountiful amount of Dos Equis, while others stuck to Liquid Death sparkling water — regardless, they spilled into the aisles to dance with one another, even between sets.
To sum up his encore-worthy performance, one could say Pitbull gave Phoenix the time of our lives.
